# Earning Traits
Random traits are awarded to all **TR00PS** that enter Battle. Each Battle has a specific trait category that is awarded.
Round 1: Background\
Round 2: Torso\
Round 3: Sound\
Round 4: Dome\
Round 5: Jaw\
Round 6: Bind\
Round 7: Foreground\
Round 8: Binary Eyes
If a **TR00P** dies, its trait is revealed only upon **REVIVAL** and cannot be [**REROLLED**](/how-to-war/gameplay/ceasefire/trait-rerolls.md)**.**
Every surviving **TR00P** will instantly earn a random trait and be granted 2 trait **REROLLS**. Traits may only be **REROLLED** during the [Ceasefire](/how-to-war/gameplay/ceasefire.md) period.
### Binary Eye Colors
If your **TR00P** ascended to pink you receive pink eyes.\
If your **TR00P** survived you will receive white eyes.\
If your **TR00P** died in Battle 8 but you revive it will receive black eyes.\
If your **TR00P** died in Battle 8 and it’s not revived it will be unindexed/removed from the collection.
### Binary Eye Digits
Digits assigned to **TR00P** in Battle 8 at the rarities determined by their **N•O•K** allocation:\
• 0-0 — 66.67%\
• 1-0/0-1 — 26.67%\
• 1-1 — 6.67%
### Bonus
If your **TR00P** enters all 8 Battles it will receive exclusive animated binary eyes specific to its binary eyes color.
